Craft FacilityAmple room for 8 crafters, our brightly lit Craft Facility includes tables (one 6 ft. table for each), adjustable padded chairs, electrical outlets, ironing boards with irons, cutting mats, a quilt design board as well as a kitchenette, living room with cable TV, and private patio. Tables and chairs can be arranged as desired prior to your arrival. The kitchenette is stocked with bottled water and coffee.
Watch our video to learn more about our Craft Facility. In this video, the tables are arranged and ready for a quilt retreat. However, tables can be rearranged "banquet-style", lined up facing each other down the center of the room, for scrapbook retreats, knitting retreats, and other craft retreats. We have the facility room arranged prior to your arrival and are happy to make changes as needed. There is plenty of space in the kitchenette for your snacks, beverages, and food. We provide silverware, plates, bowls, and napkins as well as ground coffee and bottled water.

BreakfastEach morning we serve a full breakfast of assorted juices, fruit, egg entree, meats, hot beverages, and warm breads on fine china in our private dining room.
We also offer gluten-free dishes on request. Our breakfasts are made from scratch and include family recipes like Connie's Quiche, Tracey's Homemade Cinnamon Rolls, and the Bennett's Best Blueberry French Toast (a nod to our founding Innkeepers!)

The PorterPart of our all-star service is providing a porter to help move all of your craft supplies and luggage to the Craft Facility. We will take care of moving craft supplies/luggage from your vehicle when you arrive and help move it all back to your vehicle when you depart. Didn't we say that we LOVE to host crafters?!

Recommendations
Our breakfasts are quite hearty so most guests choose to have a late lunch or early dinner. Feel free to bring snacks and meals for slow cookers (we provide one 6/7 quart size slow cooker). Should guests prefer to dine out, we will be happy to make suggestions. There are many wonderful restaurants in nearby Oldenburg and Batesville with options ranging from favorites like fried chicken, German entrees, tacos/enchiladas, and several pizza options. Grab a dish of homemade ice cream after a late lunch at a local antique shop and take a stroll through the cute shops in Oldenburg for new home goods as well as vintage German-wear.

Spend the rest of your day with friends doing the craft you love. For our guests who enjoy sewing, there are several quilt shops in nearby Greensburg, Liberty, and Versailles.
